Export courses to your own LMS (SCORM)

Run Whalemate training in the LMS you already use, keeping progress, scores and pass state.

How it works

What is kept, what is lost, how the package is generated

Kept

Progress, score, pass state. People sees in their LMS what the course already records. The training record is not split across two systems for sport.

Lost versus the platform

Human-risk analytics. Automatic assignment after a simulation fail. The agent does not orchestrate the LMS. If you export, you accept that cut.

How it is generated

The SCORM package of the published course is built and loaded into the LMS. The package is built from the published course and loaded into the LMS.

It is not a magic two-way connector

Whalemate does not become the LMS. The LMS does not become the risk engine. Coexistence is the design; unification is a myth we do not sell.

The course leaves Whalemate and enters your LMS

SCORM is the package that lets a Whalemate course run in the LMS People

Progress, score and pass state are kept. It makes sense when the official training record lives in that LMS and will not be switched off. It does not make sense if what you need is the program reacting to a fail: that does not travel in the zip.

The catalog explains which courses exist

Here is what is kept and what is lost when you leave the platform. The integrations pillar names SCORM in one line. Here is the boundary: risk analytics and automatic assignment after a fail do not leave in the package.

Nobody searches “the exporter”

They search export SCORM courses to my LMS. That is the query. The customer’s campus name is not the keyword.

What it is for

What it is for when People will not let go of the campus

It is for when People’s process requires the LMS as the record system

It is so the first year is not a fight to “turn Moodle off”. It is for the standards course that already has a place on the campus, while post-phishing reinforcement is taken in Whalemate.

It is not for if the only goal is the risk index and contextual

In that case the course is taken on the platform. Exporting “to look” does not give those signals.

In the cycle

How it connects to training and integrations

Adaptive security awareness training remains the engine when the course is taken here. SCORM is the exit door to the LMS. Identity integrations remain the hub’s: the LMS does not replace SCIM. Choosing SCORM is choosing which signals you will have. We say it before the demo so nobody is surprised in implementation.

Questions

Questions about SCORM

What is kept on export?
Progress, score and pass state.
What is lost?
Risk analytics and automatic assignment after a fail. The LMS does not inherit the agent.
Does it replace Whalemate?
No. You coexist. The record can live in the LMS; the risk program, on the platform.
Can every course be exported?
Published catalog courses in course format. We do not export a gallery bulletin as SCORM: it is not a course.
Is there a screenshot of the generator?
No. Book a demo to see the console.

Export the record, not the risk engine

In the demo we look at which course leaves as SCORM and which signals stay in Whalemate. No invented sample zip.
