Join the team redefining human risk management

We're looking for people who want to make a real impact on how organizations experience security.

Careers

A team that builds the program the customer then runs

The open roles are the ones you see in the list. If none are open now, you can leave your profile via contact.

Whalemate looks for people who want to work the human factor in cybersecurity with product, not with a course. The work crosses engineering, security, content, customer success, and go-to-market. The context is LATAM and a trilingual product. Ownership and speed are not a poster: they are how a campaign, a control, or a case card gets closed. If the slogan moves you and the ticket does not, this is not the table.

We do not publish a benefits pack with numbers the contract later does not hold. What exists for a role is on that opening’s card. The hiring process is described below honestly: application, conversations, decision. There is no invented “offer week” and no challenge with a fake deadline. If there is no card, you can still write: the profile is kept for when a search exists. That is not a promise of a call.

The list filters by area. Each card shows what is loaded: modality, location, excerpt. The long detail lives on the opening’s page, in three languages when the content is there. This page does not duplicate a job description. If you are looking for an invented culture of “office snacks and stock options,” we are not going to write it here.

How the team works

Three team habits, without a culture brochure

They are judged on published work — product, cases, Trust Center — not on a decalogue.

Criterion before theater

Webinars, reports, and cases are not published until the material is validated. The same criterion applies inside: we do not sell a badge that is not there, we do not invent a metric for a slide…

Product and account at the same table

Human risk is not designed far from the CISO who operates it. Engineering, content, and customer success talk. A role on this team, whichever it is, ends up touching a real roster or the evidence…

LATAM as the default

Languages, rules, channels, public procurement, retail turnover. The product is not thought first in English and then translated. Whoever joins has to be able to work in that context, even if the…

How it works

How the process works when there is an opening

Application

The published card has the channel to apply. The profile is read against what the opening asks for, not against an invented “nice to have” list. If there is no card, the contact email leaves the profile on file. There is no parallel portal of promises.

Conversations

One or more conversations with the hiring manager and, when it applies, with whoever you would work beside. The exact format depends on the role and is on the card or confirmed as you advance. We do not announce a standard challenge or a “reply in 48 hours” we then miss.

Decision

Offer or close. Terms are in the offer, not in this paragraph. If it does not move forward, we say so. There is no eternal pool with no notice. Each role’s detail stays on the opening’s page, not here.

Questions about careers

Are there openings now?
The ones you see in the listing. If it is empty, no positions are published. We do not keep a “we are always hiring talent” with ghost roles. You can still write to leave a profile. That does not guarantee an interview.
What benefits do you offer?
The ones written on the opening or in the offer. This block does not publish a pack with figures, extra days, or a bonus percentage. If it is not on the card, we do not assume it. Ask in the process. Inventing benefits here would be the same error as inventing a badge.
Can I apply if there is no role that fits?
Yes, through the contact channel on this page. We keep the profile. There is no commitment to review on a date. When a search that matches opens, that file is used. We do not create an opening in the listing to “have you in the pipeline.”
Is the process remote, and in which language?
Modality and language are on each card. The product is trilingual; the team works in Spanish with English and Portuguese depending on the role. We do not unify a “remote first” for every position if the card says otherwise. Read the card, not this FAQ as a contract.
